The purpose of the Swedish National Coffee Association (in Swedish: Svensk Kaffeinformation) is to promote knowledge about our national beverage in Sweden. Through its information, training materials and activities, the Swedish National Coffee Association endeavours to inspire everyday households, institutions and restaurants to create an even better coffee culture.
Members of The Swedish National Coffee Association comprise the coffee roasters and importers of Sweden.
The Swedish National Coffee Association supports the International Coffee Organization (ICO). The ICO consists of 55 countries which export coffee and 19 countries which import it, and is working, among its other objectives, to promote better and more stable conditions for coffee growers.
The Swedish National Coffee Association is a member of the European Coffee Federation (ECF), which is the European trade association. ECF publishes an annual European Coffee Report (available on the Web) which contains import and consumption statistics for the majority of European countries.
